Students understand that they bring expertise and areas of strength to our school. Each student is valued as they bring the diversity needed to create the positive, forward thinking, environment at Pretty River Academy.
Students understand they choose Pretty River Academy, however Pretty River Academy also chooses them. It is a privilege to attend Pretty River Academy. Students understand this choice is a commitment. This commitment is to challenge both abilities and weaknesses. Parent commitment is to support children in their learning. Pretty River Academy commitment is to each student to assist and support each one to become the best learners they can be.
There are no specific criteria regarding grades, artistic and athletic abilities or accomplishments. Students and families must share similar values of learning and Pretty River Academy must be able to meet the needs and expectations of both student and parent without compromising others in the school.
Each student plays an important role in the development and growth of our school. Each student and family is valued for the expertise and experience they bring to the school. Each teacher shares their diversity of talents and interests with students, parents and each other.
