Growth
Pretty River Academy students are encouraged to reach their potential through the pursuit of personal excellence. Our students benefit from small classes and individual attention leading to increased confidence. We strive to develop the whole student by balancing academic, artistic, cultural and athletic experiences.
The Whole School Experience
Pretty River Academy offers the opportunity for a consistent educational environment from Kindergarten to Grade 12. This format provides high quality education from the time a student enrols until he or she leaves for post secondary education. Each student is a member of a house from the time they enter Pretty River Academy until graduation. Students assume a variety of leadership roles, responsibilities, and experiences through teamwork with housemates. House activities involve students from the entire school and house points are allocated for success as well as behaviours that exemplify a Pretty River Academy student.
Individualized Education
At Pretty River Academy, we support the growth of each individual, both academically and personally. Students can participate in weekly clinics, which allow for enrichment, additional instruction, and skills development. Ongoing communication between the school and parents includes progress and goal setting meetings.
